And they keep losing his item. Amazon will say, We lost your items. Please contact us in 3 days. Or something. And then hell call them and they give him a refund. And then the package will come like a week later. Usually. But not every time...

Who's the carrier? Could be UPS losing it, could be USPS, could be Amazon's in house service.

I don't think it is, tbh...

Free items. After the 3 days (sometimes, he waits longer) he calls Amazon and they refund him. Then like a week or two later, when he forgets about it, he gets the items. Sometimes, he already went to the store to get it. Sometimes, he hasn't yet. They just said they lost a vacuum a few days ago. So he called and they refunded him. And maybe next week of the week after, he may get them. They do the same thing to his brother's packages, as well... The reason he gets the refund is because they don't always come. But usually do these days...

Keep in mind that if this continues to happen assuming Amazon finds out that they are eventually being delivered they might flag the account. Amazon does that stuff to prevent everyone from complaining about every order being a problem and trying to get a bunch of shit for free.

Now that stuff happening rarely is no problem, but people have taken advantage of Amazon before by using dishonest methods.

Maybe. But its also not his fault. He waits for a while. And the post office is the one losing the packages. And sending that information back to Amazon. And its his account on Amazon telling him to call back in like 3 days. So, if they flag his account, he just stops using Amazon, I would guess. Its a good site because of pretty good prices (sometimes) and it has like everything you could order on the site. But if they keep using USPS and they keep losing packages, maybe he wouldnt mind having to stop. Plus, its not his fault they lose his packages. And then deliver weeks late... And technically, of Amazon does call his local USPS or whoever lost the package and they really say they lost it, I mean, then they would know its not really his fault... But I dont know how they do stuff there, so...

I am just saying how it looks to Amazon, again they base this more on how many packages have problems so if they deliver him 10 things over a 3 month period and every package gets lost by USPS it looks pretty bad to their company especially if all of those packages show up weeks later. I ship stuff by USPS all the time and I lose probably 1-2% of packages that I ship out.

The mail here actually does suck. So, it might not be just him. I haven't had as many problems. But I have had problems like waiting for a card to come in. After waiting for an extra week, I'll call. And they say to wait for a certain amount of days. I usually wait a couple days more. When I call back, they send another one. In like 3-4 days, I receive both the original card they sent and the new one the same day. This has happened like 3 times... So, it's possible that they are the problem. And that other people are having just as many. The packages I get from Amazon are usually UPS and are delivered like at 7ish, but still delivered. So, USPS is a problem here... But I do understand what you mean, though...

90% of the time, if Amazon uses their own delivery service my package is always lost. The last time I got an alert saying my package was one stop away and then BOOM "your package has been lost". I asked Amazon repeatedly not to send my packages in house, but they still do and they still get lost.

The problem is that they subcontract to companies like Yodel, who are useless. Last time I had a package that they ended up with, they gave it to a driver they knew full well was going off shift for 3 days, despite my having requested next-day delivery. *smh* So this guy has my package at home the whole time & Yodel are insisting they've tried to deliver already when they haven't. Tbh I prefer it when Amazon actually use their own drivers without the subcontracted chain, they tend to be more reliable.
