I was lucky that my last apartment came with in-apartment washer and dryers. Before that, I had to use a community washer and dryer, and yea it was not fun. I feel bad for the people who have to do that, especially if there is only one set of washer and dryers for 6-8 units (like my place was).

Now I have a house with my own washer and dryer. Even had to replace the belt in my dryer a couple years ago, which really is something every home owner should learn how to do. If you can't do that then you are going to have trouble doing a lot of things around the house.

I just learned how to do the pilot light, change pipes, change the filters, and stuff like that. But I'm not a home owner, so... Haha

It was one of the few requirements I had when looking for my apartment - it had to have in-suite laundry.

I've dealt with community laundry rooms in the past and it sucks
