I was so excited to watch this movie, but Peters classmates were ALL unlikeable. The weirdest thing is, I liked Flash the best out of all of them. Ned is just abysmal on screen. Hes the same exact person in real life, too. Awful wardrobe choices. The person in charge of wardrobe for the class needs to be let go. They dressed Zendaya like a giraffe the whole movie. Why does Peter even like her? Were never given a reason. He went from Liz to her. Total 180. Not even how he operates in the comics. If you want to be diverse, make new characters. Thats why we have Miles, and look at how GREAT hes being received. Race bending should be a no-no. And if youre going to do it, do it well. I'm not a fan of them replacing redheaded MJ, apparently Hollywood hates redheaded females, but I'll admit this character in growing on me. The way they beat those cringe drawn out tropes over her character is too much for me. Then again, the uniqueness to the character that shines through that beats Kirsten Dunst just screaming and crying the entire movie. Emma Stone has played the best love interest as far the films go. I feel she can contribute a lot to the story if she's someone Peter can talk to about the crazy villain shit that happens in the MCU and have her act like a soundboard or fresh perspective from Peter.
