also the push on me was timed real well to those times you announced your absence but that's not necessarily your fault

That day sucked. Like really really sucked. I don't use the phrase mental health day lightly. I had to close all the windows on my browser. I had to close the browser tabs on my phone. I hadn't gotten much sleep because of traveling to NYC and back in a single day and then stayed up late again for when the day opened, and I get up early with my kids. Then the oldest spent almost the entire morning screaming at me. I had to use every ounce of mental energy that I had not to just yell back at him. So it was 2 hours of me constantly maintaining my calm mental state.

Mafia was particularly frustrating on top of that. I was clearly wrong about Sultan. I don't know why. Like yeah he's town now I get it. But I didn't and don't know what I was missing. So trying to parse that out on top of the mental energy from not escalating stuff with my kid was destroying me. I knew I was going to be busy tutoring and we go to Saturday services now. So it was easier to ignore the game until after the kids went to bed. And I thought it worked pretty well. That's why I was gone that day. I have no idea why people are voting you. I don't understand what's scummy or how you're clearly Red's teammate (sarcasm). I don't think anyone has done a good job of throwing suspicion on you except Lopen, who is one of the people on my possible scum list.

It's possible they saw the writing on the wall that Red's claim was not going to save him. He was still the lynch leader at that time and I was arguing hard for lynching him still. I do think we could've potentially got him if push came to shove.

I won't rule out the possibility that 5tarscream is mafia, but at the same time I've felt his game to be townlike throughout, so I won't pursue it right now.

It is indeed highly unlikely Tom is scum and I'm town. I'm not sure there's a world he votes me when I'm town and he's scum. But it's only slightly less unlikely that we're both scum together.

My only guess is that because I'm playing differently than last game it sounds different to him maybe? I know my game has evolved more than he anticipated. But that doesn't make sense. I don't think I've played that different from my typical style. Last game I did play a bit different because I was trying to obscure my role. This game I didn't try that. So, I'm just confused.

Where do you get that data?

If we're scum together no way I'd call him town the same way we are. If you want more insight into how I understand roommate powers and how we treat them go read the relevant posts in WWE mafia. But basically we might try to misdirect people if we're scum, but we never outright lie. I think there are only two reasonable possibilities. Both show Tom as town.

Tom is town and I'm scum. Or we're both town and Tom is confused. I explained them in depth in WWE. But I think I even went over this with Sultan on D1. Which is why when Lopen and Ulti voted Tom yesterday I was very suspicious. I was already suspicious of Ulti D1 with him being not aggressive. That suspicion died down until he voted Tom. Lopen I didn't like towards the end of D1. But I did really like how he went after Red. But the voting of Tom stops me from putting him on absolutely town list, which is Tom > Puns, HB > Corrik. I have some other town leans, but those are 4 that I don't think I'd vote for at any point today, short of some really damning stuff.

I'd like to think I had something to do with Red's death too. I've been voting Red since D1. But I'm not sure either one of us gets Red killed yesterday without 5tar's scan. So, no that doesn't 100% clear you. It puts you at the bottom of my possibly scum list, but you're still on it.

Han is definitely referring to the story flavour and not role flavour. Even if you consider the flavour split blurry, since we had the letter G as a member of town, flavour scanner is still good because it caught Red in a lie.

I need Chris around for enthusiasm mostly. I lost a lot of faith in this town after they all were like "OH NO TEH WATCHER." If we need cop claims for every lynch to go off in the face of a claim I'm in for a long game without Chris to issue commands to the rabble.
