I just think you're coming from the wrong perspective. Having multiple sexual partners, and having lots of sex after puberty is the default for humanity. We had a relatively very small period of time when religion shifted that toward monogamy being more normal but no one believes in that shit anymore so they fuck like animals again.

Most Americans aren't completely on our own at 18. That hasn't been the case for me or anyone I know. Many people I know still live with parents well into their 20s.

It's only the super hardass parents who kick their kids out and cut off all financial support at 18. It's definitely not unheard of but not common either.

Even though this is a shitpost I think your conceptions of case 1 and 2 are reasonably accurate descriptions of particular demographics of people, although it might be a stretch to say these cover the average American. We indeed need some sort of new moral (and probably secular) system of beliefs which clearly distinguishes right from wrong actions. Otherwise we are possibly lost in an age of rampant nihilism and materialism.

maybe it's natures way of putting guys like us out of the gene pool. if we were more attractive gene wise there would be subtle hints and flirtaceousness that would slowly lead us down the path of getting laid. But since we are genetically undesireables, we didn't get any of that grooming from females growing up which is why we never bothered.
