Yeah SuorGenoveffa was really the only one saving Ike for a while which was awesome as it allowed me to save Joker more.

Wasn't really expecting Ike to beat Bowser, but just him making it that far was really cool. From 73rd in SMCB to 2nd here is really quite the redemption story!

So what does this mean exactly? You had more saves than I did so not sure what the ustats represent.

All in all, another fun contest! Next time I need to really focus on the primary goal with a shot (Cloud) than other characters with a fringe-at-best chance...

If it's still like how user stats used to be in SMFFFC-2, your position is based on how many saves you made but also how well the characters you saved did. So GMUN may have saved more than you, but you saved characters that overall performed better than GMUN's characters to where you still scored above him.

Points earned comes from a combination of who you save & how much you save them

That 72.0% is basically the average strength of the characters you support. Since ZSS is who you have most of your saves in, her final standing accounts for a larger portion of your own strength.

Like for me, I save Shulk & Samus about evenly, 19% vs 18%, but since Samus got a much better placement than Shulk did (94% vs 72%) I get more points for saving her than I do for saving him.

I forget the exact formula since I made it up during SMFFFC2, but I believe it works like this:

- Bowser won the contest so each Bowser save is 100 points
- Similarly, each other character's points are scaled to how well that character did by percent
- Ike = 98.72% => 99 points per Ike save. ZSS = 84.62% => 85 points per ZSS save.

Another way to see it is by that percent in the brackets. As you see hylianknight3 has 600 points and an average strength of 100%... that's because all he has is only 6 votes for Bowser and nothing else. You can basically multiply their average % by how many saves they've made total... or you can even find out how many saves they made total by by dividing their points by the avg strength.

# of Martin Saves = Martin Points / Martin Strength
# saves = 44829 pts / 72.0 (avg pts per save)
# saves ~= 622.625

comparing against the actual SAVESTATS that matches up, Martin made 623 saves.

The only reason I won the ustats then is, because I had so few characters to focus on, I spent more time making saves in order to achieve a pattern by the end of all things, lol.

Funny thing is I've never played any Metroid, Kirby or Smash games (other than the N64 one a few times in high school), I've just here for the adventure. well, it wouldn't have been *that* great since it would only be 1 Fox save which is worth 97 points. It's not like your stats entirely absorb Fox's strength, only by how much you saved him
