For some reason most "average" or "good" people will simply not budge from the idea that diseases should be shamed. Despite little evidence that it makes people stop having sex or gaining weight or whatever the fuck else.

Some hot girls with herpes will only have sex with guys with herpes, and these guys don't have to be Chads. These girls don't want to spread it, as condoms are only about 50% effective against the spread of herpes during a break out from a girl to a guy. So, if you want to have sex hot girls, get herpes.

In America at least, herpes in the form of cold sores around the lip area is extremely common, to the point where people don't even realize that it's the same disease (although of a different, lesser type). I myself am guilty of giving my significant other cold sores because I was ignorant of it.

Is this real? It's stupid sounding enough that it probably is.
It's herpes for god sake. While I'm sure it's unpleasant it isn't ALS or AIDS.

That includes oral herpes (cold sores). I honestly doubt 4 in 5 people have genital herpes. But yes, a lot of people with herpes will never show symptoms.

Genital herpes has an extremely negative stigma. It's probably 2nd to AIDS in terms of negative public perception.

Type 2 herpes are the ones that are open sores and hurt. Pretty sure type 1 herpes is just really itchy. Most people with herpes have type 1.

It's a tricky disease because of how dormant it lies. You can have the virus for months before the first outbreak.

I was just thinking that because of the stigma attached to herpes, I bet medical funding isn't where it should be.
