Currently I'm reading Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, by Edwin A. Abbott. I've seen this book come up in several other books & TV shows in the past month or so, so I figured I'd give it a read. It's a tale of class struggle in a 2-dimensional universe.

Before that I read The Truth About Horses, Friends, and My Life as a Coward, by Sarah P. Gibson. It's a hilarious book about a girl who ends up with 3 horses she didn't really want.

And before that was Year Zero, by Rob Reid. Aliens have been hooked on American pop music since the 1970s, resulting in the biggest copyright violation since the Big Bang and bankrupting the entire universe.

At the moment, nothing. Last book I read was The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo. Good read and is changing how I view the various items I've hoarded for sentimental reasons.

I just finished reading the Icarus Corps trilogy last night. Not sure what my next book will be. Before that it was A Canticle For Libowitz. God Bless You, Dr. Kavorkian was in there as well.

I'm going back and forth between "12 Simple Rules" by Jordan Peterson, a biography on Erwin Rommel, and Legacy of Ashes, a history of the CIA.

What do you think of '12 Rules for Life' (or '12 Simple Rules') so far? I've read the first half of his other book, 'Maps of Meaning', and found it quite brilliant. Is his second book any good?

I like the way Peterson writes, but the book is mostly repackaged, standard self help type stuff with his spin on it. I don't understand why he has the Trigglypuffs so riled up.

Oh man, haven't heard that name in ages. His Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series was the first fantasy series I've read in middle school, even before Lord of the Rings. As a 14-15 year old at the time, that was practically my first "big boy" novel/series.

I just started P.C. Hodgell's book God Stalk. I am not much of a fan of high fantasy novels but I figured I would try another. I am only about twenty pages in right now and so far... I don't think I like it. I will give it some more pages. It is rare for me to stop reading a book before the end.
