Gas was about a dollar a gallon. A movie ticket was about 4$. Milk was around 2$ a gallon. Also minimum wage was around 5$. I paid 60$ for Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Switch. Now, do the math on the other stuff mentioned above... I think hes saying digital would only be better if they were far cheaper. When you get the physical copy, youre getting a case, use to get an instruction manual, and a physical game. But with digital, youre paying the same and kind of getting less. Basically, paying the same for less. And he company gets more profit because theyre selling a game for the same amount. Start the download you want on Sunday morning before you eat breakfast/shower/do chores so it's ready by the time you're done? Downloading is a very passive thing, usually. Oh add storage, Physical is usually better in this regard. Also add that with physical it's always mine to use, with digital the servers to re download will go down one day and you lost the game. Thought of more reasons, you can buy physical used so cheaper. Also sales can be better on physical. Most cases cheaper physical over digital. Or a game gets rare and goes up in value I'll sell it for a profit and put that towards new games. I also trade with people locally and friends.
