Being proud to be [marginalised minority] is saying "I am so glad that I can do this now, and will not be oppressed anymore". That doesn't exactly apply to you being white does it? That's never been a problem. It's great to be white, but it's not an achievement, and it's not really something that has ever needed celebrating.
