I know Asgore kills himself if you killed Flowey in a previous playthrough, but is it possible to get the true pacifist ending if you did?

Afaik the only thing that screws up the Pacifist ending is finishing a Genocide run.

According to what I read, on a neutral playthrough where you spare Asgore after killing Flowey, he kills himself and tells you to take his soul and find another way.

I mean the True Pacifist route you never even fight Asgore so... yeah it doesn't matter at all.

Wait is this true? Back to back neutral runs he kills himself? Does flowery show up at the start of the 2nd Neutral?

No, if you kill Flowey at the end he doesn't appear again until you do either True Pacifist or Genocide.

You can never fight Omega Flowey more than once, either. Either he just doesn't show up (because you 'killed' him) or he tells you its pointless because he knows how it ends.

I meant if you kill Flowey and do another neutral run, Asgore kills himself when Flowey would normally kill him. I was curious if Flowey shows back up so that you can complete a pacifist run.

Flowey still shows up after that and destroys Asgore's soul like he always does, and then makes fun of you for thinking killing him would make a difference.

You never can save after killing him just like Asgore, so it makes sense.

Unless you killed a monster accidentally earlier in your run, your choices for Asgore and Flowey don't matter. When you reload your save to start befriending Alphys, it will be before you killed Asgore and Flowey, therefore they aren't affected by whatever you did in the neutral ending.

If you're paranoid, just go with the pacifist options anyway.

Here's some more fun facts:

If you keep 'visiting' Flowey by fighting Asgore, and assuming you didn't kill Flowey at the end of your first run, he'll starts talking to you. As said in the topic, he mentions that's he's not going to fight you again because it'll just go the same way as it did before, but he says some other fun stuff too. Most notable thing is that Sans has killed him in a lot of other timelines (presumably when Flowey started to cause trouble).

I read about this, too. I also read Chara talks about Sans and hes the only person to scare them, but I dont know if thats true.

That's definitely not true.

Probably extrapolated from "That comedian" message that used to override the kill tracker in Snowden Genocide, but that wasn't even referring to Sans in the first place. There's a unique normal enemy that you have to kill in Snowden but it was glitched to keep showing up in earlier patches so it really seemed like it was talking about Sans.
