The night vote won't be kind for Mega Man X. It's just not the UK, but every major European nation with the exception of Spain is going hard for Tifa. This could be the largest comeback of the contest if it is successful. I think it will come down to whether or not Tifa can win the morning/day vote when North America wakes up again.

It's not just Europe, but Australia and New Zealand are voting hard for Tifa too. They usually have similar preferences to the UK.

And although Asia doesn't vote in large enough numbers at any point in the match to overpower the European voting block, Asia going hard for Tifa is only going to help make Tifa's night vote even stronger.

Yeah I got trolled by Geralt when Bayo kept stalling his cuts, I repeatedly thought he was losing his momentum for good

Tifa's been a bit more consistent but now I'm not worried about MMX winning some updates here and there

Also 34-vote cut, all the stall sessions seem to end in Tifa making up for lost time.

Based on the trends of their last matches, she may just gain all day. X's biggest hope lies in his pedigree and in the willingness of people to rally or cheat for him. It seems like no one will do that for Final Fantasy these days (Vivi maybe?).

I've been quietly enjoying these contests since 2007, and only got on the leaderboard for the first time ever last week. Woke up this morning (UK) to find myself top and nearly fell off my chair!

Random fluctuation is most of it. When you get weak updates followed by a strong one that's not too weird cause the pace downward is maintained well enough

When it hangs around 0 forever though. Yeah probably cheating. Doesn't always happen and that might be one of those "cheating 2:1 ratio blah blah" situations but like, actually really the cheating offsetting and not a nonsense excuse, so I ignore it.
