I have had sex plenty enough and I wonder the same thing. I've seen too many men who seem to measure their worth in how much sex they get when it's not going to get them anywhere in life.

For me I don't feel like counting but around 5-6 I believe.

I know people who are like that. Ive had a good amount of partners, but I never wanted it to be like that. I would have rather dated more... But most just wanted to hook-up...

That something I've never understood. Sure back at school folk claimed they had sex (often lied too) as it was the "cool thing" to do. As I'm now a adult and left school since the age of 16 I no longer care and most folk don't either. Some however never leave that mindset and continue doing the shit they did as a teen to show off only now to adults who again don't give a shit.

On a side note: I'm more envious if that's even the right word of folk who have been in a long term relationship and not necessarily had multiple sex partners than someone who's fucked a lot of folk. Of course it's possibly to have done both but it still cheapens it's value.

31yo... and I ain't proud of the 15 that came before my wife... just a bunch of trying to get over someone who never gave a shit about me by looking for her again in a bunch of other women. I can confidently and definitively say sleeping around didn't make me measurably worth any more. I could've and should've spent my early 20s differently... I definitely should've saved all the money I spent hosting parties and all that other dumb shit.

I'm at forty-five plus without thinking about it. As bad as the virgins on the Horizon forums don't want to admit. /envy. /jealous. Some v-belts are included in that number.

You could be a sex God and still end up homeless I'd call that a failure. If you are talking about procreating you only need to have a little sex to accomplish that if the odds are in your favor but two things. First humans no longer have the need for everyone to have kids. Human race is in no danger of extinction anytime soon without some world ending type of event. Two ive noticed men putting a greater emphasis on how many different women they've had sex with over simply how much they've had.

I will admit that type of thinking is more prominent in younger men though.

Used to kill me how my friends would argue and brag over it. And I say argue cause they'd use any excuse to downplay someone else's sex life. Like one guy said if you used a condom it didn't count, I'm bi and I was told sex I had with guys didn't count.

Edit. My point being sex does nothing to help you in life except get a kid or kids if you want those. But some guys will act like another guy is a loser based on nothing more than his sex life.

I once was at a club and kissing a girl, we were a bit drunk, we went to her dorm room. We were making out and foreplay and all that stuff, but when I was ready do go all the way, she just says "not today", and since I was kinda tired, I didn't really pushed it and kinda accepted it. It was kinda stupid now that I think about it.

But I lost interest after that and even one time, I think it was the week after that, she saw me at the club and tried to kiss me again, but I stepped back as rejected her. I could've gotten all the way that time, but I just wasn't interested.

I was studying abroad at that time, by the way.

So yeah, I slept with her, but didn't go all the way.
