I've got a few shows to see but I just haven't had the gumption to view anything in a while.

My average season for currently airing anime (excluding Toonami, so only counting true seasonal anime) is around 5-6 shows. The highest number of seasonals that I ever had going at one time was 12 shows in the spring season of this year, but that also included several carryovers from the winter season.

Thats cause the only way to "uncensor" it was to apply a translation patch to the original JP version, since the localized version was too far lost. The biggest bug is font incompatibility hence the kerning issues.

The problem with Hulu is that they have zero exclusives when it comes to anime. Every single show they have, including their simulcasts, is also available on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, or some other streaming service out there. They're not worth getting just for anime IMO, but if there's enough non-anime content that interests you as well, then it's a pretty good deal.

Oh, just like Netflix, it's not exclusively for Anime. They got enough shit that Netflix doesn't have that I got a ton of my bases covered now. Like, I just saw The Addams Family on Hulu and I got super excited. I was just commenting that the anime lineup is kickass.

I also don't sub to any other anime service out there. So being on Netflix or Hulu is the best way to get me to watch anime.

Fair enough. Between subscribing to Netflix and Hulu, and having a free account on Crunchyroll, that gives you a pretty wide selection of anime already. I subscribe to VRV (which has Crunchyroll and HiDive's libraries) and Funimation separately, so there's not much that either Hulu or Netflix would be able to offer that I can't get on those.

I started watching more Smile Precure (only nine more episodes after this one until I finally finish it) and boy, this went from zero to yuri really fast.






Plus I kind of have a thing for cute girls looking/acting like handsome princes, so this episode raised Reika's stock a lot in the best girl rankings.

Holy shit, some of the scared faces March made during that episode were actually really unnerving. I mean, it's understandable considering she thought all of her siblings got blasted into oblivion by Majorina, but that was easily the most emotional trauma I've ever seen one of the Smile girls go through... I think only Hana in episode 16 of Hugtto might have had a more traumatic moment out of all the Precure series I've seen so far. Seriously, look at this shit... how did Toei get away with this?





Imagine being a little girl (AKA Precure's actual target audience) and seeing these horrified faces after what she went through. That could scar a kid for a while.

Beauty's "discover something important about herself and gain a new power" episode was definitely the best one yet, at least in terms of the action and the battle she had. Only Happy's special episode remains before the final battle starts, so I'm gonna watch that episode and then I'm probably going to bed afterwards.

Beauty's "discover something important about herself and gain a new power" episode was definitely the best one yet, at least in terms of the action and the battle she had.

I thought April's was the best. Lily coming in close second. I really felt for them. Fucking Brooha had to go and involve her family like that, which increased the stakes something fierce. Chloe has a cool fight, but not much else.

Oh yeah, got a few corrections to make regarding the Yokai Watch movies. I previously said movies 2 and 3 were based on Yokai Watch 3, but I was kinda wrong since both came out before YW3.

Movie 2 was actually based on Yokai Watch Blasters, namely the additional storyline in the Moon Rabbit Crew expansion.
And movie 3 was an original story that was later retold as a postgame story in Yokai Watch 3 Sukiyaki.

Also worth noting that the western releases of YW3 will most likely be the Sukiyaki version right off the bat, judging from the content shown in the Nintendo UK trailer.

Started watching Reincarnated as a Slime yesterday. It's a silly fun little Isekai. I'm looking forward to seeing how our protag compares to other special beings in the world, but it has been entertaining so far.
