Its always someone from Virginia or one of the Carolina states to win the Powerball or Mega Millions.

Best of luck to that person in dealing with all the "friends" and "family" coming out of the woodwork. Hopefully that person played it smart and prepared a good team of lawyers and financial advisers before making the claim.

I myself didn't play. Funny though. I've wasted money on junk food and games I haven't touched for years and yet won't spend a dollar for just one set of numbers.

I spent $20 today and $20 last Friday. Didn't get 1 single number. Obviously if that 1 number isn't the mega number it's pointless but still.. to conveniently miss everything is frustrating.

It's not pointless at all. Matching the 5 regular numbers but not the mega number will still win one million dollars. I would be plenty happy winning one million dollars.
