Hell yeah. Battlecry, the setting and sword fighting are my main take aways from SamCham.

Characters, animation and story for Bebop. Spidey, I'd still say give it a shot; the crew is usually broke but tend to be "more proactive/less complaining" than the three from Champloo.

Michiko to Hatchin, I enjoyed because of dark skinned girls, so I'm definitely biased on that one <_<

You actually get to pick between 5 hitboxes (which align with already existing hitboxes of the whole roster going from small like talim to large like astaroth), and you pick a weapon out of every style already in the game which has the same moveset, so picking talim's tonfas for your character gives you talim's moveset, so its pretty much "this character already exists but you made them look different.

Also picking the different sizes have pros and cons, like a larger character has less reach but more power, etc, looks like this:

Oops. Anime staffers are people, and they too make mistakes from time to time. That reality took an unfortunate turn when someone on the team of the Devidol anime apparently gave broadcasters the wrong episode to air. Instead of episode 3, "Branch Reporter," the episode that debuted at 1:05 a.m. on Friday was episode 4, "Iku ze Gt Shjo" (Go, Robber Girl).

Soon after the new episode started to air, the anime's official Twitter account tweeted confirmation that it was episode 4. The tweet apologized and implied that the airing was the result of a staff mistake. The account also confirmed that episode 3 will air next week instead.

The anime's staff seem to be taking the error in stride and even joking about it. The below tweet claims to show the person responsible for the so-called "screw-up" as he reflects on the situation.

Masataka P is in charge of series composition, credited with the original work and planning, and is also producing the show. Although the situation is potentially touchy, even he is taking a light stance on the blunder. He noted in a tweet on Friday that the Star Wars film franchise also started with its own "Episode 4." A Twitter user who replied to the tweet remarked that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya intentionally aired out of order.

In another tweet, the producer said the Tokyo MX channel representative said "Seriously?" after finding out about the slip-up. Masataka P said he will never forget the representative's reaction for the rest of his life. He also said he could not help but laugh at the whole situation.

So not only is Devidol itself so awful (its MAL score is an abysmal 4.29 at the time of this post) that no one licensed it, no one is fansubbing it, and the few people that are watching it are completely destroying it in their ratings and reviews... then they go and make a mistake like this. It's like they're actively trying to challenge Mrchen Mdchen for the title of the biggest anime fuck-up of 2018. The fact that Mimorin and Kanahana are in the cast and will have this dumpster fire on their resume is an absolute travesty.

I don't watch Kamen Rider myself, but yeah, I've noticed a good amount of overlap in the fanbases of all the major Toei franchises.

As for your idea of a super Precure that could combine the powers of all the others... some fans are already speculating that Hugtan might become that at the end of Hugtto. I mean, even in her current baby form, she has enough magical power to summon Precure from entirely different worlds. If they find a way to get her back to her true form (she lost a lot of her power and was de-aged when she and Harry pulled a Future Trunks and escaped back in time from a ruined future), Hugtan could potentially approach reality-bending levels of power. If that is the grand finale that Hugtto has planned... my god...

Sounds pretty awesome. I'll be happy for you if that happens. I'm already looking forward to Tsukasa/Kamen Rider Decade coming back in Kamen Rider Zi-O myself.

Also, I think I'm gonna watch Precure one day lol. Crossovers are hype and experiencing it in Precure and not just Kamen Rider would be cool.

Oh baby, we hooked another one! But yeah, if you like Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, and similar shows, you'll like Precure. Obviously if you like magical girls, you'll like Precure. But if you like both, then you'll love Precure. If you do decide to get into the series, there are a few different entry points you could go with:

1) Start with the original series that began the franchise: Futari Wa Precure
2) Start following the currently airing series as it airs: Hugtto, or wait for Star Twinkle next year
3) Start with one of the "big three" most popular series in the franchise: either Heartcatch, Smile (also dubbed as Glitter Force), or Go Princess
4) Just look at a picture with all of the different Precure casts in it and pick a series based on which designs you like the most

Remember: besides Hugtto (after everything it's done to break the mold), every Precure series is a stand-alone story that can be watched in isolation without seeing any of the others. Only two of the series (Maho Girls and Kira Kira) are what I would consider "bad" entry points because they did away with one of Precure's most popular features, which is the martial arts combat. They're not necessarily bad shows, and they have their own charm, but they're not good representations of the Precure franchise as a whole.

Just watched Yokai Watch movie 3. It was... weird. Mostly in a good way.

Like, Id expected it to be 100% live-action at first, but turns out the movie switches between anime and live-action. They did great with the world-switching concept, what with how they make it the core story, how anime physics dont work in the 3D world, and how they make jokes that would only work in this style.

Overall an enjoyable watch its presentation and humor, aside from one running gag being a bit overused and some cheesy 3D world moments. CG for the 3D world Yokai are really well-done, and 3D Keitas actor is pretty good too.

Alright, just watched Yokai Watch Shadowside movie and liked it quite a bit. This movie really ramps up the series' shounen factor, but the humor is still there. I really like that they're bringing back Slimamander (first boss of the first game) as a main character (nicknamed Micchi). Looks like he'll be comic relief most of the time, but his new design is pretty cool. The new Jibanyan and Whisper are hilarious as well. The movie doesn't really touch upon what happened to Keita and the Yokai during the timeskip though, so I'm expecting the TV series and YW4 to do that.

Worth noting that they've got some great voice actors for the human cast too, with Natsume's being Mone Kamishiraishi (Mitsuha from Your Name.), Touma's being Yudai Chiba (Gosei Red), and Akinori's being Mutsumi Tamura (Kobayashi from Dragon Maid).

So, yeah, I'm definitely importing YW4 when it comes out, and I'll probably start watching the Shadowside TV series soon.

And speaking of YW4. From the movie, only Touma (player character in the TGS gameplay video) can use Yokai possession (oni arm attacks and transformation and stuff), so I wonder how Natsume's gameplay will be like. Keita/Fumika too, since it looks like their watches are now the same model as Natsume's (shame that Fumika loses her pocket watch variation though). And then there's Shin from the upcoming movie, who's still a total mystery at this point.

Started watching the new cardcaptor sakura and it's hard to watch. It's a sequel to a show way back from 1999, but... The characters all sound exactly the same. Their conversations play out almost exactly the same. The jokes are the same. The character quirks are the same. The individual scene direction and overall plot direction is the same.

It's legitimately unnerving how same this show feels. And not in a good way either, because being so similar to a show that old makes it feel very, very dated, even though it aired earlier this year. The only thing that's really different at all is the animation looks nicer.

Yeah I think many fans forget just how fucking good the quality of Clear Card was compared to the original, though Clear Card does repeat a lot of plot point from the original.

I think Cardcaptor Sakura's later episodes are the ones that stay in my mind, as well as the first ep which was really unique to me when I first watched it many moons ago. But character dynamics do change over time and old serial animes will do what old serial anime does

Oh yeah, I was definitely blown away by how nice it looks. the visuals are really really good. It's just the rest of it hasn't changed at all and the show is imo a lot worse for that. It would almost be more believable if it had actually been running for 18 years and was still mostly the same. But having this giant break in the middle, starting a new subseries (or whatever you want to call it) and then having it be so similar bothers me a lot. Things that worked back then don't work nowadays

Agreed, I wouldn't keep at it into adulthood unless I somehow got a cushy gig training other magical girls like what Nanoha and Fate got. The thing is, most magical girl anime end with the girls finding that source, wherever/whoever it is, and stopping it so the world can be at peace. Grab a staff, fight monsters, save the world. That's probably what most magical girls would expect when they first sign up for the job. But if that doesn't happen, then I guess it's tough shit, sugarcakes.
