It's one thing to distract the guards and give your rogue the chance to set up a perfect assassination attempt. It'd be another to convince the guards to remove their gear and then catch them with their literal pants down and dispose of them. Like I know how that plays mechanically. Roll some Dance, deceive, etc., while your party rolls sneak and so on. But to carry out the entire sexual assault and then, and then continue the campaign as though this were a combat success? What the fuck? And why on Earth would you actually describe the assault. I mean, the guards seee your forest elf and apparently a toggle flips immediately switching them from 'guard mode' to 'rapist mode.' This setting has the narrative logic of hentai from the nineties. This is all just to say, this is probably not for me. I'm telling you what happened, not what I tried. I tried to trick them into taking their clothes and gear off so they'd be easy to attack or incapacitate, but my gear was damaged in transit so I didn't have it on me so I would have been killed if I tried to attack them without my own weapons. I tried to use deception to lure them away and then I would have run away myself, but I failed my roll and they they didn't buy it. I tried to struggle free after they grabbed me, but my I have nothing in my Strength Modifier so I couldn't overpower them. My party members were wounded and didn't have some of their gear either so a sneak attack would have failed. I did the best I could with what little I could do. As for the guards, it's supposed to represent how guards were like back then. Plenty of guards were creeps and crooks or abused their power. It would be easy to rob or rape or murder someone without the consequences we face now in the modern world. I've met plenty of guards who were nice or normal or just wanted to be bribed. Not all of them do that, some of them have helped me. This one guard found me and my one party member unconscious after a forest fire, took us to his base, questioned what the hell happened, and once he knew we weren't a danger, had his Cleric heal my Ranger because she was on the brink of death, gathered our things from where the fire was, and escorted us back to safety, but warned us not to cause any more trouble. But still, there are corrupt guards who will do bad stuff because they can. It's a weakness that can be exploited. I'd rather get raped and escape than get captured and killed by competent guards.
