Like 3 chapters were responsible for 99% of the difficulty. Some of them were easy to cheese, though, like that one where you can make the chapter a cakewalk by destroying the Black Bull at the start of the race.

That's how you unlock the AX tracks without the arcade machine, right?
I never managed it, but I also lost my GC and the Wii I had broke. I'd love to give it another go. I unlocked the first set of unlockable tracks but not the AX ones. ... Copied to Clipboard!

A long time ago, I beat Grand Prix on Master difficulty (definitely not as tough as Very Hard Story, but it still took me took quite a while) with James McCloud and unlocked his character video, but then my memory card corrupted itself a week or two later and I lost everything before I pull it off with anyone else. That was a very, very depressing day, and I never really tried to beat everything ever again.
