Debating on switching some of my noms out and I really want to see the boards opinion on them. Since I've only been here for only one of the character battles. Theres a few I have ideas on, like Neku being fodder. But hes one of my favorite characters and i think he needs a win.

It's a lot of effort to rank a list with so many unknowns on it. And they're your favorites, not mine, so I don't really care to. Bring a shorter list or a list with more data to look at and people might be more inclined.

On a Scale of 0 (Chester) to 10 (Link)

Cuphead- 3/4 It does have an interesting cult following but don't expect much

Monokuma- 4 It does have a series and the whole popular twitch thing but barely low midcarder is the best I'm considering.

Joker (Persona 5) - 5/6 (Persona 5 is probably fairly well played on this site but even so it's still a newer game and somewhat untested

Phoenix Wright- 7 (He's somehow proving to be a decent midcarder)

Neku Sakuraba- 4/5 (He's been in before and does.. enough to at least have a match with high fodder I guess?)

Bowser- 9 (consistently one of the strongest non Noble-Niners)

King K. Rool - 5 (DK and Diddy don't do particularly well as is. Best thing he has at this point is the Smash announcement)

Waluigi - 5 (Being from the Mario series and a joek character helps but not too much.)

Noctis - 4/5 (REALLY hard to say FF15 seems to have very mixed reception, I'm honestly expecting him to have maybe 60% of Lightning'S strength

Sora - 8 (Can't go wrong with him being in the contest)

2B - 6/7 (A very interesting case. Her design alone could be decent enough but Nier Automata seems to be a well regarded game that people actually played as opposed to original Nier)

GlaDOS - 7/8 (Portal is liked enough on this site)

Banjo - 4/5 (Seems consistenly in the 'meh' zone)

Master Chief - 7 (Inconsistent but still strong enough to be here all the time)

Green Biker Dude (Mega Man X2) - 2/3 (Outside a joke rally don't expect much)

Rathalos - 3 (Monster HUnter IS big but would people really care for this big guy all that much?)

King Dice - 2/3 (See cuphead but worse)

Callie (Splatoon) - 2/3 (Splatoon already probably isn't a super cared about game and she doesn't seem like a major character anyway?)

Olberic - 3/4 - Octopath does have the convienence of being on the Switch and a old school JRPG feel that GameFAQs would care about but not enough to
make too big a difference

Hat Kid - 1/2 - I'm going to assume not many people are even gonna know what this is

Cuphead - weak but not super duper weak
Monokuma - same as Cuphead
Joker (Persona 5) - could probably win against a lot of fodder characters, wouldn't trust him against many big names
Phoenix Wright - can beat most fodder and on a good day, a midcarder. would never bet on him against truly proven characters
Neku Sakuraba - very weak
Bowser - very strong, beats or goes even with most non-noble characters
King K. Rool - probably very weak even with smash
Waluigi - high fodder
Noctis - probably same as Joker
Sora - pretty good but I've never considered him Bowser-tier, though KH3 might help him this time a lot
2B - probably same as Joker and Noctis
GlaDOS - similar to Phoenix Wright
Banjo - very weak, and will stay that way unless the miracle happens and he gets announced for Smash mid-contest
Master Chief - probably in the same strength range as Phoenix Wright, but might be even worse now due to Halo falling out of gaming consensus each year
Green Biker Dude (Mega Man X2) - very weak, joke support is its best bet
Rathalos - weak
King Dice - super weak
Callie (Splatoon) - super duper weak
Olberic - who
Hat Kid - super duper weak

Marie is provably more popular though.
