You English are mad, mad, mad as March hares. What has come over you that you are so completely given over to suspicions quite unworthy of a great nation? He also forced Otto von Bismarck to resign. Yes, Bismarck, now known as a german national hero. Kaiser Wilhelm didn't like Bismarck's peaceful ways. He preferred something more aggressive. The consequences were not good. Its easy to get this false representation of war because war entertainment hardly touches on logistics, politics, non combat troops, and etc because they are meant to entertain not inform. Again, Germany was fighting a losing war due to manpower/resource shortages and its alliances were not as cohesive and efficient as the Allies. Putting all this in to play, Germany fell back from El Alamein because they were beaten resourcefully.
