Yeah... I'm gonna say something that might be sacrilege, but... as much as I enjoy the Smash soundtracks and respect the effort and breadth of the work, many of the songs have better remixes available at ocremix imho.

I honestly hate 90% of the remixes they do for Smash
Nintendo has so much great music, but they feel the need to do new mixes for Smash that dont capture why the original piece was so good to begin --- I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite user on the Citadel. Gang Plank Galleon needs the accordion and drums. Smash version ruined it, man. Main problem is its sped up too fast for the intro part of it. And wtf at those lyrics?

I liked it in the K. Rool reveal trailer, but the lyrics completely ruin it. Hopefully the remix that was in Brawl will still be there (or better yet put the original in too).

I would hold this one up as better-produced than any current Zelda remix in Smash:  A lot of the Smash remixes are very good, compositionally, but they tend to rely on pretty amateur-sounding samples, imho. I like the arrangement of the Gangplank Galleon remix (specifically the reharmonizations and the melodic callback during the solo section) but the instrumentation is off. The trumpet part sounds like it's written by someone who doesn't understand the mechanics of a trumpet (even considering the genre they were going for)...
