Board 8 > ~ D.Va Overwatch Nomination... suggestion ~

Not really a "rally", since I'm not super invested in whether she's in or not, but I would like to see an Overwatch character in, and since there's nearly 30 of them already I think it would be really easy to to the nominations to be split. I've heard people suggesting Tracer should represent, or popular characters like Genji, but I think D.Va is easily the best choice for these reasons:

1) She's a prominent representative of the series. Tracer may be the "mascot", appearing in logos and everything, but I think D.Va is clearly one of the most recognizable. She appears in tons of merchandise, is probably the most cosplayed character, and is also really popular in the porn... . Even people who have never played the game would recognize her over pretty much every other character.

2) She's well-liked as a character by general fans. People love D.Va as a character. She appeals to people who like her "gamer" identity, her cuteness (she's a popular "waifu"), and she's notable in a lot of fan art, memes and general fan humor that surrounds the series (like the "gremlin D.Va" stuff).

3) She's also popular game-play wise. She's always been one of the most-picked heroes for the entire life of game. New and unskilled players love her because she's so easy to use (compared to Tracer, who has an extremely high skill floor), and she's a mainstay in the professional scene too, being picked in seemingly almost every single League match. Unlike other popular characters like Genji or Hanzo, she hasn't accrued the massive anti-fandom that they have, so even people who don't main her aren't really bothered by her.

She ticks off every box well, appealing to a ton of people. I think the only real problem is... spelling her name. Even I didn't know it was "D.Va" until I looked it up before making this topic. Hopefully "Dva/DVA/etc." noms will all be counted together.

This and Tracer. Maybe Reinhardt too. Reinhardt is beloved and his voice actor just seems high on life when he plays him

I couldn't really get into Overwatch (I hate objective based FPS games like the truck escort or capture points), but when I played it, D.Va was the only character that felt fun to play.
