I am a teacher and every previous year I taught two subjects all in the same grade level.

This year they asked if I would teach two subjects again, but spend half of my day in the jr high building, and half my day in the elementary building (across the parking lot, not a long walk), and I said I would be interested.

Well after I said I was interested that they changed the offer saying it would actually be teaching three subject and still have to split my day between buildings. And I just got the official word today that is what is happening.

tl;dr - used to teach two subjects and not move around, this year I have to teach three subjects and split time between two classrooms

I assume you're still paid as 1 teacher instead of 3? If so, nobody screwed you, you did that to yourself. Teaching is a passion profession especially you're teaching normie trash instead of elites and future politicians.

It is gonna suck this year, but a few good things can come from it.

1. In a few years there will be a full time opening at the junior high and this year will give me a preview of whether I want to take that job or not.

2. This will buy me a lot of goodwill in the district moving forward which it comes to future openings.
