First of all, why do the parents die. What the fuck did that even add to the story? Why were they even sailing anywhere? Like they weren't even murdered by the evil villain they just die in a random storm basically off panel like what the fuck was the point of all that?

Secondly, everything else is also stupid but I suddenly lost a lot of motivational anger and I'm going to cut this post short.

Their death was a random tragedy and led to Elsa being thrust into power while also having no idea how to handle her powers. That was half of the communication breakdown between the sisters.

Yeah, Frozen is kinda "Elsa sings the number one song on the radio and two sisters love each other (in a pure way)." There's really not much else going on.

If I'd seen the movie in advance of the hype, I'd have done a double-take at how much people love the movie. I know I'm not the target audience, but it's a 7/10 movie. It's nowhere near as good as Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, or The Little Mermaid.

People die all the time. Why does there need to be a reason?

The staying power of that movie is all in Elsa and Anna's relationship which perverts have sullied by making them a romantic pairing through Disney has kinda pandered to them even more by making comics of Elsa skating hearts around Anna and them constantly talking about how much love each other. Even their appearance in Kingdom Hearts III is from the part of the movie where their relationship is mostly defined.

I honestly feel like the plot twist was phoned in just to push the sisters together even more, they've yet to appear without each other in other material as well even in the Wreck it raph sequel has both of them

It's really not one of their best. Story wise it's one of their worst but gets a pass because it has a catchy song.

But, Technically, Disney's Tarzan didn't make it explicit where he was from. Disney changed a lot of the other details, so it's not unbelievable. For example John Clayton is not a hunter who wants to kill Tarzan ... he actually IS Tarzan.

I know it's literally a gimmick but the parents typically start dead or are murdered throughout the course of the movie.
