If it was Profs/TAs then fair enough, I guess she didn't have a choice. Otherwise she never talked to any guy other than her boyfriend.

She was Portuguese, he was Japanese

If you're in a relationship, you have no reason to talk to the opposite sex other than what it is absolutely necessary. She did good.

Holy fuck imagine thinking you're not allowed to even communicate with the other sex while in a relationship. Like what the fuck you can't make small talk and chat with the opposite sex just to make life easier and better?

What strange creatures you are.

They already can't talk to women, so adding some kind of fucked-up hypothetical makes it more tolerable.

I said that going beyond what was necessary in day to day life with the opposite sex when you're in a relationship is pointless. You're misreading and putting ideas there that haven't been expressed.

The only thing that active friendships with the opposite sex leads (while in a relationship) are feelings of not being as interesting, valued, or loved. It will also almost inevitably lead to some form of cheating, not because your partner is disloyal but the other person involved is a snake.

Think about this: you're in a relationship with a girl, and you ditch plans with her to hang out with your female friend. How do you think that makes your girlfriend feel? No amount of "just friends" rhetoric is going to change the fact that this type of behavior makes your girlfriend feel like she's not as valuable to you as your "friend"

Similar feelings happen when a guy "friend" gangs out with your girlfriend. When the opposite sex shows interest in one another, the majority of the time it's because they're either sexually attracted to then, or at least think that they're pretty/handsome, which will eventually develop into a desire to see them naked.

If a girl is all about hanging out with a guy, chances are she wants to fuck him.

If a guy is always trying to hang out with a girl, chances are he's trying to fuck her.

Especially if they insist on hanging out alone, without you/others involved, it's most likely because one of them is trying to find an opening where a normally loyal person is vulnerable and take advantage of them.

Hanging out with the opposite sex, unless your S/O is involved all the time, creates uncesssry drama that can't be avoided by any amount of rhetoric or feelings.

None of this changes the fact that if you're going out if your way to make plans that won't involve your very alive and well girlfriend with your female friends, you're making your girlfriend feel like an absolute pile of shit and being a shitty partner.

wendy williams is insane but shes right about what she says on her show: when you get married its time to cut all ties with members of the opposite sex that arent family members.

its all about respect but in 2018 not a lot of people on earth know about that word and what it means.

Like I've been saying, no one should be expected to just outright ignore the opposite sex once you're committed, but if you're the person trying to constantly make plans with a female friend that don't include your girlfriend, the only thing you're doing is being a shit-tier, selfish partner and making your girlfriend feel like she's not as important or valued as your female friend is to you.

Especially of two people insist on hanging out alone, it's because they're cheating.

what the hell are u doing being anything other than acquaintances with the opposite sex when youre taken?

Lol. But pretty much. Co workers and class mates sure. But you shouldnt be going out for drinks with them. Suspicious behavior in your significant others eyes, and rightfully so. There isnt a valid reason to be seeing new co workers or classmates in a pre existing relationship outside class or work.

Gotta keep in mind your audience. Most of the people disagreeing have a 0-3 body count and were raised thinking questioning suspicious behavior is being controlling.

Similar as if your gf gets off work at 11 and comes home at 3am with a 4 hour lapse in communication. Not a lot of positive reasons that situation would occur.... not sure how they could interpret that as controlling when the end result is actually the opposite of controlling. Thats your single and dont give her the time of day anymore.

Of course this is hard to comprehend if you havent had a gf or jumped on the first thing that tolerated you.

None of this changes the fact that if you're going out if your way to make plans that won't involve your very alive and well girlfriend with your female friends, you're making your girlfriend feel like an absolute pile of shit and being a shitty partner.

Vice versa with women with male friends.

You're the only one pushing the "ditch the girlfriend for other friends" narrative. No one else was talking about that. No one said the girlfriend can't also hang out you and female friend. No one said its impossible for a straight dude to have female friends he isn't interested in fucking. No one said the girlfriend had to be left out of the loop in terms of hang out plans.

Like... communicating. I've heard that's a thing. One could Google it if not familiar with the concept.

You've never seen a woman's vagina and you got suspended for defending rape

who are you fooling

Im getting married in 2 weeks and I got suspended because SJWs cannot have a nuanced conversation.

Are you getting married to a guy? I'm asking because you recently said in another topic that women want all male babies castrated and that being born with a penis means life is fucked.

If you're in a relationship, you have no reason to talk to the opposite sex other than what it is absolutely necessary. She did good.

AND
