Barbara Reddick, an elderly woman from Nova Scotia, Canada was an ecstatic woman after she found out she won the Lottery of 1.2 MILLION...but her happy face turned into anger in front of the MEDIA which shocked everyone in the room as she stood next to her 19 y/o nephew with the cheque and then stormed off angrily and said she was SUING her nephew after splitting the winnings!!

The claim is that barbara bought the tickets but put her and her nephew's name on the ticket because she thought he was GOOD LUCK...but said that if they ever won the runner-up prize, she'd split half but if they won the big prize, SHE would get all of it...

Nevertheless, they split the winnings right down the middle as she said her nephew, Tyler MacInnis "doesn't deserve" his share of the prize even though HIS NAME and her name were on the ticket!!

She claims she would have given him 150,000 smackers but NOT HALF and is now suing him for the other half of the winnings as she told the media in the room that she was calling a lawyer right after that picture which showed a beaming Tyler with a scowling Barbara..

Lottery organizers presented both of them with 2 smaller cheques of 600,000 each as the canadian lottery is tax free and any winnings is 100% theirs..but Barbara quickly lost her temper who pointed at Tyler and said "See you in court. Chase the winners is going to court, it was my ticket"

CBC asked her to explain and she said "I bought the ticket and now he's trying to lie and say we should split. I said split with the 50/50 runner up prize, not no Chase the Ace. I'm taking him to court, i'm getting my lawyer tomorrow". Then she accused the teen of wanting to buy a TRUCK with the money and said "I put his name on the ticket for good luck because he's like a son to me. He was like a son. He was lucky, but NOT FOR HALF A MILLION DOLLARS."

Asked whether she thinks Tyler deserves half the money, she said "no i don't think so"

Footage showed organizers clearly reading out both names on a joint ticket and an image of the ticket obtained by the media shows both names clearly written with both of their names on the ticket.....

Organizers said they had no idea of the family divisions ahead of the cheque ceremony and are "disappointed" by the outcome but stood by the decision to grant both of them the winnings.

Barbara says now "HE'S DEAD TO ME. THEY'RE ALL DEAD TO ME" referring to her nephew and her SON who was also in the room and angrily screamed to the cameras "you better not put my son's name in the media"

The 2 families are now torn apart by money as now neither will see much of the money as this will drag in court with lawyers getting most of their money...

folks are jerks though like one time these two ladies (we later found out they were sisters) were getting frosties at my wendy's. We accidentally gave one of them a bigger size for the same price (because you had to call them out and "junior" sounds like "medium" in a busy store) and the other sister said she should get a bigger one for free as well. I thought she was joking until they put a complaint through on me.

Legally, she shouldn't have a case. They're both on the ticket, they split it. Morally, she shouldn't get a fucking cent, because clearly she's human garbage. So be happy with your half, you undeserving sack of shit. Hopefully the court case somehow works out so that she loses all her money one way or the other and she blows her own brains out.
