I've been there quite a few times and didn't have any bad experiences. I do like Cincy's skyline and it's not too bad of a drive from my home city Nashville.

A lot of it is a shithole, though obviously it depends on what part you go. OTR got crime like crazy
Also all the stupid nonsense with the damn streetcar subway thing. They blew all this freakin money on it then didnt even finish it, but thats just a minor annoyances, Im just tired of hearing about it lol There is some good too of course, like you said skyline is where its at --- R.I.P. some of the neighborhoods of the inner city are being gentrified, but the process is still going to take some time. a lot of progress is being made though. OTR is kind of divided between being a total ghetto and being nice. still a decent number of murders happening there though.
i agree with uncle drew that a lot of it is a shithole. some neighborhoods on the west side are becoming ghettos. the neighorhoods on the east side near the river are your typical sheltered rich white folk areas. good neighborhoods, but the people there are fake af. honestly i'd pick somewhere else to live. cincinnati has a great history but the city pretty insignificant now, being left behind along with the rest of the rust belt. i'd pick portland or something instead. --- bob the buster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFNtqC0ETqo ... I just googled it cause I was curious, and it said Cincy was the 9th deadliest city in the US in 2017. Figured it was up there

I used to work at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Really enjoyed Cincinnati and the parts of Kentucky that are across the bridge.
