At least, the (UK) Conservative party doesn't get much of a look in here (Glasgow). It's the SNP and Labour all the way.

I have a lot of Indian and Pakistani neighbours, but the overall area is predominantly white.

D, I'm not white, and I live in a suburb of Dallas. My area is diverse and with varying opinions, but there's also places within 5-10 miles that qualify as conservative and overwhelmingly white.

Not sure how to respond to the second part. Little Rock is about half minority and my census tract is much less white than the city overall. But this city is in Arkansas, which overall is overwhelmingly conservative and white

I used to.

Not anymore since I bought my own house. Many mixed neighbors - all of them, really nice. There's nothing more I respect than elderly people. When I first moved in, this like 80+ year old African American woman introduced herself and was so nice. One of the nicest people I've ever met. I love the older generation - they just are always so humble and friendly.

The city seems to be pretty mixed. Lots of whites, but A LOT of blacks too. The factory I guard has a large amount of diversity.

I'm white, and I do live in a majority white conservative suburb of Cleveland. But to be honest, I can't fucking stand a lot of the people who live in my town. They're not just conservative. They're hateful and spiteful people. They're mostly old, racist, ignorant pricks and some of the things I've heard them say just make me want to punch them in the face on a regular basis. -_-

And sometimes they don't even have to say anything at all. I got a job working at a local Convenient Food Mart near my house just after college. It had been closed for close to a decade until this guy Mr. Singh bought it, renovated the place, and reopened it. In plain facts, what he did was invest in the area and do something to improve it by bringing back a business that used to be a staple of the town. For the first couples months after it opened, I would get tons of people coming back in for the first time. They'd look around and check the place out, then come up to the counter and say how nice it was to have it back again and how good the renovation was. Then they'd ask me if I was the new owner (keep in mind, I was fucking 22 years old at the time...), and of course I would say no I was just an employee. They'd ask who owned it and the instant they heard the name "Singh" you could see their expression change and you just knew you were never going to see them in the store again. It made me fucking sick to my stomach. Fuck this town. >:-|

EDIT: He ended up having to close the store after less than a year. He started off with 5 employees, and for the last 2 months it was literally just myself and the owner alternating shifts because he couldn't afford to pay everyone. He actually set up a bed in the back room of the store so he could close one night and open the next morning without having to drive 45 minutes each way back home at night. The guy fucking slept in the store to try and make it work, and this town just shit all over him.
