More prestigious digital currencies can take a bit of investment of resources to get into and the market for most of them is really, really volatile.

I think it was an interesting idea that ultimately wasn't completely thought through, and it became way too easy to scam people with it.

Started with $50 bitcoin

Flipped to Ripple turned into $180

Withdrew $130, leaving $50 in ripple

Moved to Ethereum where it's been hovering between 70-80 for weeks.

Success IMO but no I know basically nothing about it or how it works

The "fun" days of massive growth/dips are gone, now it's just like any other silly investment

I made a bunch on eth, not much else but enough to break even with the losses, put deposits on two new cars, and a trip to spain
I took out everything else once I hit the year mark except for about 2 grand worth of eth I figured i'd just leave there in case it suddenly skyrockets

I cashed out. The party is over. Crypto prices are based entirely on hype, and there are so many bagholders just desperate to break even at this point, that I doubt we will ever see a real recovery.
Not to mention the fact that virtually every "project" is a scam lol. Crypto has always been about finding another sucker to pay more than you did. Anyone who ever thought of it as actual investing is a fool.
