Not entirely sure how I will feel about the aesthetics till I play the game for a while. It looks fine so far. Those PSone graphics still have a certain charm to me though. Idol Springs used to be a bit of a drab level for aesthetic purposes but for some reason they turned up the colour brightness to cloying levels. Spyro just looks awful. He looks like a... a plastic dragon. Spyro didn't look like a dragon. He looked like a edgy 90s mascot who happened to be a dragon.
