Did the Genesis or SNES have any 5 player games? It's actually a really challenging but rewarding game and it forces communication to coordinate who's going to do what and what issues are coming up in the game. It looks simple but it quickly descends into hell mode. But seriously like... it's a really well designed game, just requires strong teamwork. Eon Altar (Windows) is a cooperative (or is it?) RPG for 4 players where each player uses their smart phone as a controller and each player gets unique information, tasks, etc. that you can share with the other players or keep to yourself for whatever purpose you see fit. I haven't actually played this one so I'm kind of curious how it goes. I clocked 1000 hours on it and had to force myself to stop so I can clear out my Steam backlog. Problem is I recently purchased Deep Rock Galactic which is inspired by Helldivers on a whim and it looks like my backlog won't be clearing anytime soon... --- "Average Joe" is a trolling term since it's completely an opinion.
