Raider (the B stands for Boy, obviously) Tom Boy Raider, so that supports your lesbian theory, but aside from exploring deep into wet caves, there's no evidence left of that either. --- PONG WAS REAL? In the second reboot she has a Japanese female friend who it is implied they are close although never stated and it also says they went out after guys together in clubs. So who knows?
