I find games like Dragon Quest to often be a chore since strategy takes a back seat to grinding. But something like SMT or Etrian Odyssey where grinding isn't as helpful as team building and tailoring strategy to the fight I enjoy quite a bit. --- move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines.
