They've been using the women a lot more to fill time. Last two weeks Raw and SD have both had nearly equal number of women and men segments. I guess that's fine but they really need to bolster the roster depth a bit if they're going to use them to the extent they're using the men on TV.

Impact runs two women's segments a week with like 4 women on their roster, and honestly it feels like all of the women matter waaay more than in WWE. I think the issue lies in the lack of stakes or sensical storytelling more than anything else. The characters are so flimsy and booked so cheaply that no one really feels like a force to be reckoned with. It feels like filler.

I don't think they could have much room on that card for more. You already need matches of Ibushi, Omega, Bucks, Okada, and Cody. Plus you have a couple women's matches, Pentagon and Fenix, Jay Lethal, Flip in some role, Scurll, Joey Janela...

So I flew back to Iowa today and on the small plane was Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Cesaro, Samoa Joe, Big Cass, and Eric Young.

Got to talk super briefly with Joe and Cesaro (told Cesaro I was a CHIKARA fan and he was a favorite of mine). and got a photo with Jeff.

Fun note: Cass, Sheamus, and Jeff were in first class, the rest were in economy/coach.

I didn't even see where Cesaro sat. Didn't see him until it was time to pick up bags after the flight. Maybe he was first class and came in after me.

Cass definitely didn't seem taller than my 6'10" friend. i know we talked recently about actual heights so I'm curious what he is.

He was the first i saw but I didn't think he was tall enough to be cass then notice Joe beside him and Sheamus in front of Joe scanning his ticket (in a hat or I likely would have spotted him sooner.)

Eric Young never even stood next to the others and part of me thinks it wasn't him cause he had no interaction with them. But I'm pretty sure it was. He just kept completely apart and was also clearly very tired.

The ref not being there for the multiple times Gargano won, but being right in position for Ciampa winning seemed contrived. But I guess it does make sense since Gargano was the one to knock out the ref.

How is NXT Tag division done so much better than main roster? Fantastic match. I worry about Lorcan and Burch on main roster because they look so generic and I am not sure what character they have, but I am a fan of their ring work.

Dream and Ricohet
How much does Ricohet weigh? I think him being the 205 live champ but also on the main roster makes a lot of sense when he gets called up if he is at that weight. Also when Dream debuts it should be like an IC open challenge call and he should win it right away, think it would do him a ton of good.

Also Suicide Dive is way over used. I think it needs to go away and more reserved for huge moments. It gets done in multiple matches multiple times, it kills its value.

I like how Dream sells a lot. I think a program with him and Gargano would be really entertaining.

I feel like Dream's stock goes up every single Takeover. He's very good.

I have been thinking the entire time of how to describe this match. I keep coming to most violent ever, but it's not like a gory violence. Its like watching a horror movie and waiting to see what the serial killer has next. Or a final destination waiting to see the next insane death. Through the whole match I was making so many noises. Oh my God. Holy shit. And just grunts of pain.

This was so personal I honestly felt like one of them was going to get a knife and literally stab them for the finish

I... think I have to agree with this being the best match in its history but I have to sleep on it

But my God. I feel like I watched two personal friends destroy each other and I could do nothing to stop it and feeling dread that our relationship was un repairable. Never have I been drawn into a match to this state. Just wow
