Lewis Jr on US 171 on Tuesday afternoon in Louisiana!! Sherell was stopped on the road with his vehicle near Pickering to remove debris when he was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene as Sgt James Anderson said "What it appears to be at this point is that this man was trying to do a good deed. There was debris in the roadway and he didn't want any other motorists to strike it. So he gets out of his vehicle to remove debris, and he is struck while this is happening" The Kid was found to have been wearing his seat belt and a toxicology report is pending but snapchat messages following the murder was found between him and another person that shows the red truck that hit Lewis with the caption "Y'all i just hit a whole guy on the highway" along with 3 sob emojis. In another post he described the vicitm as "some n-word" before he continues talking about the DAMAGE done to his car as he claimed to have felt sorry for the family but is more WORRIED ABOUT HIS CAR!! Lake Charles NAACP President Rev. J.LFranklin said "it's horrendous. Our prays are with the family, no doubt about it. But what is most devastating is the aftermath of that. The posts".
