At Arlington National Cemetery today, President Trump laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and paid his respects to those who gave their lives for the country. I'm trying to see good in our current president but shit like this, especially on a day that is to commemorate the lives of current and deceased US soldiers, is just disrespectful. As the commander in chief, he should be ashamed. ... Copied to Clipboard!

there really isn't anything wrong with what he said tbh. Seriously? Memorial Day, is literally, a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces. It is not a day to pay homage to himself or praise his performance as president, by calling to attention to the state of the US economy, unemployment numbers, military increase, and whatever else he was mentioning. It's disgraceful to the lives that died fighting for the country. If he wants to inflate his ego, save it for the 4th of July, Presidents' Day, or just tomorrow. ... Copied to Clipboard!

helIy posted...there really isn't anything wrong with what he said tbh. Happy Memorial Day! Those who died for our great country would be very happy and proud at how well our country is doing today. Best economy in decades, lowest unemployment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics EVER (& women in 18years), rebuilding our Military and so much more. Nice! he outlined and congratulated what they fucking fought for. he didn't ego stroke himself at all. he didn't even have anything to do with what he talked about. not once did he mention him being responsible for any of that. this is literally a case of trying to find ANYTHING to be upset at him about, when he didn't even do anything. you can hate the bastard all you want, for whatever, but this? this is just ridiculous. --- this norton product has been successfully uninstalled https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/1448-helly-squad ... i'm talking about the entire tweet. he outlined what the men and women of our armed forces fought for.
as for him saying that if he wasn't president, no, he probably wouldn't have, because he wouldn't have any reason to bring that up. he likely wouldn't have said anything at all. but since he's president, there is a reason to. again, there isn't a single thing in that tweet that can be associated to him, and not a single thing in there he tried associated to himself. he didn't praise himself, he literally did not mention anything about himself. --- this norton product has been successfully uninstalled https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/1448-helly-squad ... the fallen who died for this country did so because they wanted this country to succeed.
how can you succeed if your unemployment rates are increasing, if your economy is in the toilet, if your army isn't worth a damn? what is the right thing to say?
