Yes, but it is weird. Basically if you are at an intersection in free ride and cause a crash, you enter crash mode. There might be something more to it though, I haven't played the game in a few years.

It has a stunt mode, which nobody likes. It also has open-world racing, which is completely antithetical to the entire game.

Just play Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012, since it's essentially Burnout Paradise: Fixed Edition.

The sad thing is when you play Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012), you realize the game is INCREDIBLY empty. Like literally the whole game is just completing random races or causing enough trouble to unlock the next competitor so that you can beat him, steal his car, and do it all over again.

At least Burnout Paradise has variety and progression.

Burnout Paradise was a great game. I spent a ton of time trying to find all the hidden ramps and shortcuts. The biggest issues were the lack of a true Crash Mode and the inability to restart a race without driving all the way back to the intersection where it started.
