Like no more school shootings. Ok

Ok now instead the violent psychopath mentally ill teens go to school with a hunting knife, karambits etc. and mortally stab 8-10 students before jumping off the roof and killing themselves (happens in Japan land of banned guns) There are actually non metallic knife blades too that will never be detected by metal detectors made of very hard ceramic or glass.

or what about hunting bows that are very dangerous and can be bought anywhere? You can easily kill a bunch of people in a gym or classroom that are unarmed with the hunting bows where its all fast and easy to reload and just shoot shoot shoot especially if you practice.
People still think of bow and arrows like the old classic ones.

Then you have pyromaniac kids the ones that bolt chain lock a classroom door shut and then just burn the entire classroom inside with them in there all to die (happens in Russia)

I mean the guns thing is stupid because people are trying to act like it will stop violence and crazy individuals from being violent and wanting to hurt others.

If someone wants to kill someone they will go to school with a huge rock in their backpack and just bash the brains in of the person sitting in front of them and no metal detector would have ever detected the massive rock in their backpack.

This whole thing is stupid.

Getting rid of guns will make it harder to kill people. Once that's done with, we can figure out how to prevent pyromaniacs, stabby-stabby types, or any other creative way to kill people.

Figuring out involves putting more time into understanding mental health, raising awareness for mental health and much more. Society, economy, culture and lot of other things will need a sort of revolution.

What's your point? Serial killers are mentally challenged psychopaths that will happily devote a whole lot of time and planning on a single target.. Not exactly the average case. It has nothing to do with gun laws.

You can just run away in a scenario where there's lots of people and he's already got one target. A loonie with a gun on the other hand might easily just spray and pray and have a good chance of killing you.

If he has to get close enough to use a knife, ability to aim isn't an issue for either weapon.
