Bought Odyssey, will have my hands on the Switch at the end of the week. Which are the must-get accessories, if any?

Screen protectors? Car chargers? Charging docks? Stands? This is aside from the Pro Controller, of course.

Also, what SD card size should I get/do you use?

I still haven't bought anything besides screen protectors. Not even an SD card. I only own 2 games, one of which was $5 and like 30 minutes per run.

Definitely get a case and screen protector. You can find them for pretty reasonable prices on Amazon.

Power banks can be useful. If possible, get one with a USB-C port that does USB Power Delivery. They're also useful for charging your phone.

As far as SD cards go, it depends on whether you'll be mostly buying games digitally or physically. I think the typical size people get is 64 or 128 GB, but I have a 200 GB only because Amazon had it on sale.

my Switch is in its dock 99.9% of the time so a case and screen protector are unnecessary. All depends on how you plan to use it.

I would just get an SD card and a pro controller

Not much. Will only take it out every now and then so my niece and nephews can use it for a couple of hours.

Otherwise I will be playing in TV mode most of the time.

I will look into a Power Bank.

Honestly, don't get one for your Switch, get one for your phone. If it's going to barely be used in portable mode except for "a couple of hours" at a time, you're fine since it will run for more than that on the battery. Battery banks are useful for phones though and if they're of a certain amperage, they can be just fine for the Switch. Again, look for something with a USB-C port with Power Delivery if possible for the fastest Switch charging speed, or at least 2 amps if it doesn't have a USB-C port. Obviously, you'll need the appropriate cable as well.

If you plan on using it portable at all, definitely get a good power bank and the stand.

The battery life is not that good, and for whatever asinine reason they put the charging port on the bottom, so you can't play it in tabletop mode plugged into a battery without a stand.

At this point, all I've bought was a second set of joycons. I got them used from a secondhand videogame store, for 25$.

I have a 64gb sd card for it.

I'm used to joycons in grip, so I'm not sure I see the need for the pro controller.

The Switch pro controller might just be my favorite controller though, it's incredible nice to hold.

I bought joycon grips, a stand, a pro controller, a Butterfox case, and screen protectors. I use it out of the deck a good amount though.

Screen protectors seem like a given. Stand was extra but allow me to have it upright on my office desk at home. The grips are great, I felt like the portable switch was a little easy to drop without them. The grips are just two little grey slip-on pieces.
