Went back to do an installation on the game.

Apparently it's highly recommended on 360.

So I'm leaning toward the night-elf looking race with a a boost to persuade. The last one, forgot the name.

I'm going rogue for sure, but I don't know if I wanna stick straight rogue or class mix.

I almost always go for the high Dex sort in games like this, stealth depending on how it works.

It started so well, and i did had fun right through it, but by the end i was so overpowered it was hard to stay interested. IIRC, by the end i was just running around spamming a Kill Everything Around You skill.

Still, there was so much potential, and i would have loved to see what they could have done with a sequel and a willingness to improve upon their past mistakes. And apparently, enough money to pay off their debts.

It gets easy as fuck later on. Even on the hardest mode. It does get a bit repetitive, but still pretty fun. Feel free to respec every once in a while, cause it's pretty cheap and all the various class combos are fun.

You will get plenty of hours out of it though. If you do everything there is to do, at least 90 or more hours, and that's a low estimate.

Chakrams. Yeah they're good for a magic build, but really most of the weapons were pretty fun.

This combat is pretty fun.

Rocking daggers and a staff.

The only time I took a hit thusfar is catching an arrow or two because I didn't know how the ammo worked.

Put a point in Detect Hidden, then points in Daggers combos, Dagger mastery, and charging Chakras.

Those look cool as shit so I'm thinking they'll be my secondary.

Fought the Rock Troll twice because I wasn't expecting the "hammer button for XP" thing. Got 75% the first time, wanted 100.

Second fight went a lot more smoothly as well.

Chakras are the SHIT.

Also rocking the Shep armor and omniblades.

Chakrams are easily the best mage weapon although once you get meteor weapons are just a stat stick cause you never have to attack again.

They are easy if you have a sword. Early game I recommend keeping a sword around to fight off wolves until you have better abilities.

Moon godlike is crazy good as well for many builds. OP healing!

Remember enjoying Amalur as well, but long since lost the game sadly.

McFarlane did the art Salvatore did the story.

I don't know why people said the game had a bad story. I thought it was great. Definitely better than "scream at shit for 10 hours then go kill a dragon"

Got a pretty sweet set of faeblades and chakrum from the Traveler's.

Also stole everything they had and sold it right back to them, including a purple staff.

I think as you increase Dispelling, you remove some/all bad nodes or whatever they're called.

BTW, there's a glitch where you can get multiple backpack expanders from merchants. I forget which ones have it (outside of the one at Mel Senshir across the water), but you can buy one, use it, save, attack the merchant, reload, and they'll have another one. I forget if it works on every merchant, but the one I mentioned above definitely does. If you use it, though, be careful about increasing the BP size too much, as people have reported problems when you start getting to 300-400, haha. (This game's inventory management isn't amazing.)

Was doing the road patrol quest and ran into serious slowdown when I fought the second set of Niskaru.

Had to restart, it was like .3 frames per second.
