From what I understood, Super Bu had more power but Kid Buu just didn't give a fuck about anything. Less overall power but far more dangerous due to loss of sanity.

After the Frieza saga any attempt to quantify power levels just sounds stupid.

People try to use the show for examples but the scaling and the consistency is so freaking off.

After a certain point Toriyama put 0% effort in making them official but fans take it upon themselves to establish power levels.

Power levels are shit but characters still had more power than others. You can't deny that.

Unless you're talking about Super, in which everyone seems to be on the same level. At least in Dragonball FighterZ they have a good (albeit dumb) reason why everyone's the same level.

The only thing we know for sure is that Gohan was merely a ssj when fighting Dabura. Everything else is speculation.

Super Buu without Gohan, Gotenks and Piccolo in him would have been beaten by Vegeta and Goku, hell he could have been beaten by Gohan and Gotenks but the idiots fucked around with him too much to the point he became Buuhan, that was him at his strongest where only Vegeto could smack him around so easily.

I haven't played the game, but from some of the cutscenes that I've watch there's some machine that sends out waves that suppresses everyone's power to the same level.

Everybody throws mad shade at him because Yamcha is the only one who didn't get affected by it because he was already too weak to be affected by it. Shit's hilarious, Gohan gets shit on alot,too especially by Cell. Then again, everybody gets shit on by Cell in the story, he's fucking great.

When Goku and Vegeta take Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo outside of Buu somehow he becomes Kid Buu, who Supreme Kai said was the ruthless killing machine and that he was the real monster.

And then Kid Buu seems to put up way more of a fight than Super Buu ever did. By right, considering Super Buu absobed Gotenks and Gohan, he should be way above Kid Buu.

But the show has Kid Buu as the final big bad so I have no idea.

What really should have happened was there be no Fat Buu within Super Buu, rather there be the 2 supreme kais he absorbed.

Kid Buu should hypothetically be exactly as strong as Evil Buu.

That's about it, IMO as strong as evil buu but not as smart but instead of smarts he's completely random and bat shit making him harder to fight because you can't predict or prepare for what that crazy little imp will do.
