Just curious. I posted this on the PC board as well.
There are some people in the industry that don't like Microsoft and what they are doing to Windows. If I was a publisher, I'd be a little worried about the default Windows 10 S mode they're adding to PCs. I know it's only going to be on select PCs, but it would be that Microsoft is just testing the waters and seeing if they can get away with it in the future. This can have an impact on PC publishers and mostly distributors like Valve because if MS makes Windows a more closed platform, Valve won't get a 30% cut of all games sold through Steam. This will affect Blizzard, Epic Games, EA, and GOG to name a few. That's why Valve invested in SteamOS. --- #pipebomb_phil http://i.imgur.com/atWQoAs.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!

A userbase. It is perfectly capable of modern 3D gaming. By 2017 there were at least 2,000 games for Linux on steam(though a lot of them are shitty $1 indie games). It seems to me that more and more developers are targeting Linux. There are just too many applications(and games) that don't have good alternatives on Linux, so a lot of people have to use Windows whether they like it or not. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
