I have it in writing this was just an official contract to release all parties for X amount and move on with life. Then it reserves our right to sue if not reimbursed in 30 days.

he'll definitely have to pay my legal fees. he has no legal backing for what he's trying to do. does he really think with all the documentation i have he'll prevail? it's crazy. does he think he'll be able to convince anyone i just spent $4k to move out of a home i had no intentions to vacate out of the kindness of my heart because he made a poor business transaction? lmao i'd love to see the jury's face because this would be a jury/judge trial because it's over the small claims threshold.

no, i still just want my expenses paid! lol i told him i'm not even pursuing him for inconvenience which i'm entitled to and a court would give me. i told him to look up wrongful eviction and treble damages if this is how he wants to go. he told me it doesn't need to be combative. i told him he's the one making it that way.

yeah if i have to take him to court i'm absolutely adding in inconvenience damages in there and ask for any legal fees i incur as a result of having to do all this because of him.

he's looking at going from a $5k claim to a $20k claim after treble damages and attorney fees.
