Whomp's Fortress: that star you can walljump to instead of using the cannon.

Snowman's Land: jumping into that ice house to the left.

Both of them can be done in under fifteen seconds. What else?

Behind Chain Chomp's Gate is 11 seconds.

You can get the star on the pyramid in Shifting Sand Land in under 10 seconds if you jump over the dune behind where you start.

Assuming you mean from 0 stars, it's going to be star 6 in Bob-omb Battlefield behind the chain chomp.

If you mean from the moment you have access to them, it's the two toad stars, because all you do it talk to him.

My local game store has a weekly challenge each week -- this week was getting a star in SM64. I haven't played in forever, but I took #1 and then broke my record again on their scoreboard.

Shoot Into the Wild Blue: 14.80
In the Deep Freeze: 10.55

Previous first place was 16.78 on Shining Atop the Pyramid...heard the dude went to grab the shell to do it, so that's probably where he messed up.
