Face it, parents don't want the risk of autism, putting nasty chemicals in their kids, the pain and sickness that you normally get with vaccines. If they wanted it mandatory, they have to do it by birth since parents can refuse to go to doctors.

And adults like me, who will refuse all adult vaccines for life.

Well, you know the the original study that proved that vaccines cause autism by Andrew Wakefield? It was proven that he lied about his results, specifically about the kids before and after medical conditions. Also he was being paid by a lawyer who was suing vaccine manufacturers, and the lawyer needed proof that vaccines cause autism, so he hired Wakefield to do the test.

But ok, go ahead and believe that the literally HUNDREDS, possibly thousands of peer reviewed studies by independent people that proved there is absolutely no link between vaccines and autism have all been paid off or were wrong.

Perhaps, but you'd be surprised at how common myths or general ignorance about health or medicine topics is, even amongst educated people.

Medicine is a complex interplay between dozens of scientific disciplines including anatomy, physiology, histology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, pharmacology, pathology, etc, etc.

Without a background in all of these, the chances of someone interpreting medical data correctly is basically zero. But for some reason, a few popular science articles, or a 5 minute google search is all someone needs to be way more confident than they have any right to be about any of these topics.

I get where some people are coming from about a parent's right to choose what sort of treatment they will give their children. However, vaccinations are not one of those issues. They are 100% proven to be safe and it's entirely a public health issue and not a personal rights issue. If a parent wanted their child to carry radioactive waste around in their pockets, we wouldn't even be having a discussion about this because they'd instantly be ruled poor parents for endangering their child's lives and countless other children's lives.

So, why can't the government MANDATE everyone to do it at birth? It sucks for parents to keep bringing them back. Just give it all at once to ensure that the parent can't say no in the future.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that the treatments require children to reach a certain age to be effective. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Then that sucks. You can't ethically force someone to get a vaccine if the parent is of sound mind.

And after 18, you can't force someone to get a vaccine they don't want to.

I know no-one gets the flu vaccine anymore so that's good imo. I got it once and never again! I got sick after getting it, probably the flu lmao

I have no problem with schools requiring vaccinations, but if a child isn't vaccinated I don't believe they should be removed from their parents, and I think the parents should be able to get their taxes back from the school that would have otherwise educated their child if the child is barred from entry due to non-vaccination. Fair, effective, and efficient.
