Celes vs Lightning specifically I believe would motivate Lightning voters full force an even persuade some extra savers. Finals clearly despise me since I'm 0-4 (was on Team Gilgamesh)

Yeah halfway through the finals of C1 I changed my mind and started saving Celes, but didn't quite make it to cover the Vivi saves I had already made.

Celes v Lightning would also lose Kleenex, MI, obviously Roba, and possibly Inviso... Kleenex/MI/Inviso would be such huge losses that there's no way Celes would even make the finals without their support anyway though

Inviso's a big questionmark since IIRC Celes is one of her superfavs but she never supports Celes until like 10-15 priorities down

ftr I would probably vote Celes over Lightning in a final

either (1) Celes hasn't won yet (poor GMUN) (but against a character I also dislike is a perfect time for her finally to win) or (2) Celes has won, but it would be funny if Lightning were so finals-cursed that she can't even beat a former champ

since all my favorites keep winning, Celes could be my main by the time Lightning is in. just need Kefka, Yuffie and Tidus wins for me to start thinking about it, then Squall and Zidane would cement it (since Tifa and others have no shot).

Roba can solo Light to the Top 20s, MI would toss support in until his higher priorities fall (which is honestly pretty simple).

Two people can guarantee a Top 10 appearance, and then probably can pull off Inviso or Kleenex's priorities until the other one's fall... and that grouping could get a Finals.....

Celes vs Lightning finals are basically impossible to happen due to key overlap. Me and Yankees alone can't get her to the Top 3.

Although me and Yankees really aren't the same as your average duo... I hinder my sleep pretty hard to be around enough to ensure Celes survives around before I sleep, but that I can wake up in time for the next round. And of course doing this I'd feel it's safe to say Yankees is more active than most as well.
