...an authoritarian regime if its policies happened to line-up completely with your own views?

...this is also regardless of your opinion of "authoritarian regimes" and certain aspects that inevitably come with them, obviously, but everything else is perfect for you personally. Dissent is crushed mercilessly, but it's in a place that feels like the dictator basically had your opinions become law. Your general standard of living will also not be worse than it is now, should you accept.

Lastly, any technicalities/loopholes are invalid. This is just a basic ethical question, not a quest to find the "I'm so clever for thinking outside the box but I actually missed the entire point" users.

How would that even work when my political views oppose authoritiarian regimes on principle?

SMH. There's always one... "this is also regardless of your opinion of "authoritarian regimes" and certain aspects that inevitably come with them, obviously"

The views that specifically conflict are not supported. It's not complicated.

I saw that, but its kind of hard to answer without taking the authoritiarian regime into account when I don't have any issues I care about more than not living in a brutal dictatorship.

Yes, because an authoritarian regime that has individual civil liberties as its highest core principle would be very interesting to watch.

No, because I want to act freely and see others act freely, I want to see the society as a whole deeming what's right and wrong, not an inherently biased ruling class.

No. People deserve individual rights, and any measure to undermine those rights is just a dictatorship. Eventually, it will go to greater and greater extremes to secure its power.

I can't even work out my own opinions on some of the more important issues (complaining about animal cruelty while chowing down on a hamburger). Can't imagine how laws would work in cases like that.

No.

For a number of reasons. One, because my opinion changes from time to time and if my authoritarian government didn't change with me then I wouldn't be a happy camper. Further, it's completely unethical to force someone to adhere to my values and moral standards. Even if I'm right.

It's ironic but technically possible. It'd feel like a kindergarten class where everyone has to get along.
