How many times have you put in service requests over the course of a year? I live in a branded apartment complex ran by a company and not with an individual landlord so they have a maintenance team for the buildings.

I have put in 7 last year. Is that a lot? It was stuff like lightning and minor Home appliance issues.

Depends on how old the building is. The older it is, the more you can expect to have problems

None in the last year. Like two the year before (once for the water heater and once for leaking pipes under the sink)

My landlord is one grumpy old guy who does the repairs himself

I've put in I think 3. One for ants, one for thermostat, and one for kitchen sink.

Also my apt is company-owned as well so they have their own team like yours does.

Self-conscious. I haven't been given any grief or any reason to worry from the apartment complex staff, it's just my nature to overthink things.

I only put in like 3-4/yr probably but I hate calling maintenance so I only do it for serious things. If you're renting you can call maintenance every day and it's fine cuz that's what you're paying for.

This, plus one for the sink. But zero the year before that. I'd say as long as you're under one per month on average, it's no big deal.
