Qanba Drone Joystick, it had a 50% off so it was $40. I looked around for reviews on it before and it seems fairly decent for a starter, and for $40 I'm willing to take the risk and hope it's not too shitty. I'm not expecting high end and again it's my first one ever so might as well.

What I like about this game is it's designed to be super playable on pad. I've tried sticks here and there and just could never get the feel for it... but with this game, I feel absolutely no disadvantage using pad.

yea, I didn't get into a match. And it took me mashing the start screen like a dozen or so times before I was lucky enough to start it at all, so I was able to do tutorials at least.

What is so good about it vs. a normal PS4 controller?

-10x better dpad than the dualshock 4. It's also adjustable so you can angle it to fit your thumb

- 6 face buttons > 4 for fighting games

- Toggle switches for the shoulder buttons so you can have access to L3 and R3 if you need them

- not necessarily related to fighting games but a good turbo controller too for trophy purposes

So what are all the general inputs for special attacks? I know the fireball and Ultimate Attack, but some others I dont have memorized yet. Like how do I do that psychic impaling move thing Cell has? I seemed to be able to do all of his other attacks aside from that one, but playing against people doesnt leave much room to experiment with inputs

I think there might be down-twice inputs in there somewhere?

Oh man that is cool. Im think Im a little confused on exactly how to do the input though. Say I wanted to do my L1 characters Ultimate as a tag in. What input do I need for that? I got a little confused on when to hit the L1 button

QCF + Assist to do Level 1 Ultimate Z Assist

QCB + Assist to do Level 3 Ultimate Z Assist

you have to cancel into it so you have to put in the whole input during your final attack that's going to knock them to the ground

at the end of the video he says others are reporting you don't have to do the full quarter circle motion just hold forward or back + assist depending on what one you want to do so maybe try that as well
