I say this as someone who has experienced the negative effects of the economy's recession back in 2008/9, and since I've seen my city improve in some areas, and seen steady job growth over the past few years already.

Christian values to Christians means something entirely different than Christian values to bible belt Trump supporters with depressing divorce, alcoholism and teen pregnancy rates surrounding them.

Trump may be bringing back whatever you consider American values, but those are not Christian values. Maybe besides being against abortion, he hasn't been very Christian-like to anyone with any type of discernment in their hearts.

Trump fails as a Christian on every opportunity. He misquotes the Bible, makes misstatements about what people believe and really does not understand it. I find it amazing how the religious right defend this man and call him a model Christian, he is the fakest christian ever, it's obvious. Really I think they know Trump isn't much of a Christian, but they also know if they support him he will give him what they want. So these Christians who want power surround Trump, and they give him the illusion of being a christian.

They are working at destroying the secular nature of our government. They are destroying the Johnson amendment, they are pushing for creationism in school and teacher lead school prayer. They want to turn American schools into a five day a week church that kids of other religions have to go to. They want to destroy the free expression of religion.

As for Obama rather or not he was a Christian does not matter. You don't have to be Christian to be president. He did however however quote the bible correctly. Maybe he was only pretending if so he is a better fake Christian then Trump. At least Obama didn't partner himself with Christians who are trying to take over America and turn it into a Christian Theocracy. At least he didn't team up with people who think Christians reverse more rights then everyone else like Trump has.
